people seem to think that being gay is a sin,a curse, or an abomination,but I really don't think so. People are simply jumping on some sort of bandwagon and they have been on it for so long that anyone that thinks
or act different from them is for some reason wrong or immoral......
this is SO NOT THE CASE!
For the longest time, I would go to church and believe everything that

but the moment I reached fifteen, maybe it was because of my budding introvert nature, which made books-a-million my second home, I read a shitload of books and came to the conclusion that there are a lot of different people in this world.
I had some questions.
If homosexuality is unnatural, why are there so many species of animals doing it (check it out on youtube people.) It must have some sort of role to play in nature, so it must be natural. Therefore it must be okay if people are gay as well.
point proven.
Many historical figures have had homosexual leanings such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Alexander the great, Ricky Martin, gay priests, gay medieval knights, gay samurai, a shitload of rennaisance artists, etc.
I'm COOL with gay people.

I'm Not Gay, but I believe that Gay people should have the same civil rights as anyone else, especially coming from a black guy who at one point in this country's history, would have had his civil rights denied to him.
It makes no sense to me as to why gay people should not get married, It doesn't hurt me in any was shape or form whatsoever. I was raised in a religious community in the black church circles and people I will tell

Really old religious Black people are the last to accept things like homosexuality.
Chances are its because for generations we have been on the lower part of the totem pole when it comes to life-changing, foreign truths like the topics of being Gay,Lesbian, Transgender or whatever. Black Christians are pretty slow to accept that part of reality mainly because we have lacked access to information
for so long that we cling to the bible like its the end-all-be-all even though it was obvious that there were gay people in the church choir.
(people if you go to a black church and their choir is THE FUCKING BOMB, chances are that there is a gay person in there somewhere)
and don't even get me started about all the preachers and politicians that constantly wave the anti-gay banner and they themselves are outed.
but I digress.
When I was living in Fort Lauderdale, I was SURROUNDED by gay people, I lived in a part of the city called Wilton Manors I was living in an apartment and my landlord was gay, my next-door neighbor was a lesbian, and above me were a couple of transexuals.
And I was COOL with all of them!
I did not see any problem with living in the area and they didn't have any problem with me. We would say hi and go on with their lives.
NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER.
But there was one time I was jogging on the beach and I was running past this gay couple and one of them said while I was running past them;
"you want some real excersize"
I paid no attention to them and kept on truckin' and I was like: "What the fuck" in my head. But I thought about it for about two seconds andkept jogging.
aaaaannnnd........
There was also one time in the same city where I was trying to find my way arounfand I got lost, I saw this club called the JACKHAMMER.
Yeah, I know, the name should have gave me a clue.
So anyways, I walked in the club and noticed that there were an awful lot of dudesin there, no one bothered me, but I took the hint and got my black ass out of there.
aaaaannnd.....
I went to the local PUBLIX with my piece-of-shit-roommate and we were walking out the exit and this fifty-something gay dude said to us;
"such a lovely couple"
we kept on truckin'.
scared the shit out of him but I shrugged it off.
There is no such thing as "Pray the Gay Away" or "Stopping the Gay Agenda"
or any other bullshit.
Gay people are like straight dudes, we are just trying to fuck.
